Accounts Payable Associate

Location: Boston, MA

Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site (5 Days per Week)

Compensation: $57,000 – $62,000 annually

Overview

A Boston-based financial services firm is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support day-to-day billing and payment operations. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys structured, consistent work and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records within an established process.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Manage weekly and monthly payment runs, including checks and electronic payments
• Reconcile invoices against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice questions and payment status
• Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; hands-on accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working within defined processes and workflows
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage routine deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
• Reliable, consistent, and professional approach to work
