Job Description

Position Summary:

The General Laborer supports all phases of construction by performing a variety of tasks on the jobsite. This role assists craft workers, maintains clean and safe work areas, and ensures materials and tools are properly handled. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn new skills while working as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling.
• Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
• Assist skilled trades (carpenters, drywall, concrete, framing, etc.) as needed.
• Maintain safe working conditions and follow all company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
• Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding, barricades, and containment areas.
• Support site preparation, excavation, and installation activities.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work efficiently as part of a crew.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
• Must pass a drug test and be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively.
