Additionally, you should have demonstrated knowledge of the construction, mechanical, electrical, or HVAC service industry. A strong understanding of mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other building subsystems is essential. You must also have experience in integrating low voltage building subsystems using various industry protocols such as LON and BACnet. I will be accountable to field teams for the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of designs. Tasks will include developing complex software programs, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation of the systems. I will create flow diagrams, sequences of operations, bills of materials, network layouts, and electrical schematics as needed. I will also coordinate the creation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules, select and order materials for projects, assist in loading and commissioning controllers, validate complete system functionality, and provide field change information to the project team for as-built drawings and software.
Technologies:
  • Network
  • Security

More:

I will keep management and the JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues and assist in conducting site-specific training for owner/operators on the total building control system. Participation in release meetings with the project field team is expected, and I will perform value engineering to deliver cost-effective results while ensuring customer satisfaction. Adhering to safety standards and maintaining a high degree of employee and subcontractor safety is a top priority for me. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least five years of experience or an associate degree in a related technical field with seven years of relevant experience. Additionally, an understanding of IP networking for building automation systems and familiarity with the Tridium/Niagara Framework is beneficial.
