**Jira Administrator - Hybrid** **Location: Phoenix, AZ** **Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future*** **Key Responsibilities** Ø Administer and configure Jira Cloud (Software and Service Management) and Ø Confluence Cloud environments for multiple lines of business. Ø Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers and Software Ø Engineers to implement Jira structures aligned with Scaled Agile Framework Ø (SAFe) and enterprise Agile standards. Ø Design and maintain custom workflows, screens, schemes, fields, filters, and Ø dashboards that enable effective portfolio and team-level tracking. Ø Manage user access, roles, and permissions through Atlassian Access and SSO Ø integrations with identity platforms. Ø Implement and maintain automation rules and integrations (e.g., with Slack, GitHub, Ø and ServiceNow). Ø Support governance and compliance by ensuring configurations align with Ø security and audit standards. Ø Provide technical support and Tier 2/3 troubleshooting for Jira Cloud and Confluence Ø Cloud users. Ø Develop documentation, training materials, and best practices to promote consistent Ø usage across business units. Ø Participate in Atlassian Cloud upgrades, testing, and change management processes Ø in coordination with Enterprise Technology teams. **Required Qualifications** Ø 5+ years of experience as a Jira Administrator (including Jira Cloud) in a large enterprise environment. Ø Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks. Ø Proficient in JQL, workflow automation, and project configuration. Ø Hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud administration, including user management, permission schemes, and global settings. Ø Experience managing large-scale user bases (5,000+ users preferred). Ø Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills. Ø Experience in governed or regulated environments (e.g., financial services, banking, or Ø fintech). **Preferred Qualifications** Ø Atlassian certifications such as ACP-120 (Jira Administration for Cloud) or ACP-620 (Managing Jira Projects in Cloud). Ø Familiarity with ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, and Jira Service Management. Ø Experience integrating Jira Cloud with data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau). Ø Knowledge of Atlassian REST APIs or scripting (Python, Groovy, or JavaScript). Ø Exposure to Change Management, IIQ, and enterprise security compliance practices. Applications will be accepted until 12/26/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $49,001 - $107,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
