Attention Metairie Truck Drivers! OTR CDL A Tank Truck Solo Drivers needed to haul liquid bulk general hazmat products across 48 states.

Positions Available:

• Company = Up to $0.68 a practical mile (loaded and empty + supplemental pay) or Median $1,650 Per Week.
• Owner Operator = 70% of linehaul/accessorial charges and 100% of Fuel Surcharge or a Median of $5,800 Per Week to the Truck.

Job Details/Requirements:

• Single Hull Stainless Steel Tanker trailer.
• Transportation Workers Identification (TWIC) preferred.
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement Required (If you don’t have it, we can provide resources for you to obtain it!).

Home Time:

• On the road a minimum of 14 days followed by 3 days home time.
• Every additional 7 days worked allows for 1 additional day of home time.

Owner Operators will have more flexibility with home time policies.

Hiring Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements. 
• Class A CDL without the following restrictions: Manual (E), Air brakes (L,Z), Night driving (G), No semi-trailer (O), Intrastate only (K) or Medical variance (M).
• Clean motor vehicle license.
• 2 years of recent driving preferred. 12 months minimum of recent driving experience. 12 months of tractor trailer experience in the last 5 years. Experience must be with a 36 ft. trailer minimum.
• TWIC must be obtained by OTR drivers. 
• Must have a valid DOT medical card.
• Pass a urine drug test.
• English proficiency required. 
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Core Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

• Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
