Sterling Engineering is looking for a Project Manager in Atlanta, GA. This opportunity is with a leading firm supporting industrial construction projects and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will support industrial and commercial construction teams by managing project schedules, budgets, and client relationships. This role requires strong project management experience within the construction industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to oversee projects from inception through completion.

Job Duties:

• Engage with customers by developing, growing, and maintaining strong relationships.
• Deliver high-quality services and ensure all project deliverables meet client requirements.
• Manage projects and programs to achieve successful outcomes while adhering to established procedures.
• Administer construction contracts as a Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent, or Project Manager.
• Review project budgets and schedules, and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise.
• Produce and present reports and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage service delivery to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Proactively communicate with leadership about project challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5–10 years of experience managing commercial or heavy industrial construction projects, preferably greenfield.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and principles.
• Understanding of legislation impacting building contracts.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and financial analysis skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
