In this role, you will be responsible for the maintain our race cars at the shop and during race and test events. Using your mechanical experience, you will be expected to integrate yourself with our team and help complete all work required to service, maintain, and repair our race cars. As part of our continuous improvement culture, you will be expected to help with additional tasks around our shop, which will help keep driving our organization forward.

The ideal candidate must strong communication skills, interest/passion for racing, be self-motivated and driven while having a good work ethic and have an innate desire to do things the correct way.

Requirements:

• Be able to work on all systems of race cars, to fully prepare and maintain them, with the highest level of attention to detail, while meeting tight deadlines that frequently come with racing schedules.
• Fully service, maintain, and repair your assigned race car during race and test events.
• Travel to all race and test events as assigned.
• Strong sense of customer service, professionalism, and maturity, as you represent Conquest Racing during race and test events.
• Participate in safely and efficiently loading our race transporters at the shop, and at the racetrack.
• Collaborate with the Team in additional workshop duties, such as cleaning, organizing, servicing, and maintaining our equipment.
• Everyone is expected to be an integral part of our team, contributing and collaborating with the highest level of integrity and team spirit.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Knowledgeable in proper mechanical practices for road and race cars.
• Thorough understanding of the basic innerworkings of road cars.
• Time Management — Managing one's own time.
• Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Problem Sensitivity — The ability to recognize when a problem arises, something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
• Desire to collaborate with the rest of our team.
• Fabrication and welding experience is not required but preferred.
• Racing experience is not required but preferred.

As a small team, we expect that will be hands on all the above tasks and you will always take ownership on your work which is much appreciated.
