Job Description

EMM Research is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Research Associate to join our team in New York City. As a Research Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our investment banking operations by providing comprehensive research and analytical support to assist our clients and decision-makers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis, delivering valuable insights into diverse industry sectors, market trends, and investment opportunities.
  • Gather and synthesize financial data, market reports, and relevant information from various sources to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Prepare concise and informative research reports, presentations, and investment memoranda for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay updated on industry news, regulatory changes, and economic developments, and provide timely updates to the team
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality research and analysis
  • Proactively track project progress and updates in the internal ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation of events such as calls, meetings, and activity uploads
  • Utilize timers on all work to accurately capture time spent on tasks and projects, contributing to efficient project management and resource allocation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in history, library studies, communications, or a related field
  • At least one year of corporate experience
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • 4x on site, 1 day remote | Central NYC location
