My client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our growing construction team in the North Suburbs of Chicago. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing complex building projects and ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Manage a team of subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management and clients
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure smooth project delivery
- Ensure that all work meets relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and cost tracking to maximize efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience
- 7+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- Thorough understanding of construction industry practices, regulations, and safety standards
