Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Manager based in Sarasota, FL. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with logistics, freight, and warehouse experience to oversee shipping, receiving, and material distribution activities while leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse and logistics professionals.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, stockroom, and material distribution processes.
• Handle the onboarding, performance, and development of employees, including corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate shipments via UPS, FedEx, DHL, and LTL truck carriers to meet customer requirements.
• Accurately input and manage data in ERP systems (SAP preferred), customer portals, and freight carrier platforms.
• Prepare and manage shipment documentation, including packing lists, invoices, certificates of conformance, and export compliance documents (EEI filings, commercial invoices, AWB/BLs).
• Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate with production teams to ensure product availability.
• Provide timely and professional support to internal and external customers regarding materials and shipments.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring compliance across the team.
• Use analytical problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 years Logistics / Shipping experience.
• Must have strong client facing and relationship skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and perform physical warehouse tasks (standing, bending, lifting, using ladders).
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
