Primary Care Physician (PCP)

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time, outpatient-only primary care
  • Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
• Minimum productivity required: 14 patients per day with incentive compensation for each patient over the daily benchmark
• Patient appointment schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch
  • One day per week can be flexed for extended hours through 7:00 PM
• No inpatient care required
  • Option to consult for nursing home patients as part of weekly schedule (e.g., morning or afternoon block schedules)
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation (Greenway system)
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality care, especially for underserved populations (approximately 85% Medicaid)
• Support organizational mission and new initiatives, such as recently launched chiropractic services

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
• Eligible for or active West Virginia medical license
• Willingness to work in an FQHC setting that serves a market that includes:
  • 35% Medicare
  • 30% Medicaid
  • 10% commercial
  • 15% sliding fee scale populations
• J-1 visa candidates welcome
